On going art projects at the Seaton primary School. We at Councillor Kiran Van Sweden’s behest covered over the ugly eyesore graffiti on the old pub on Seaton place east, which was scaring the kids on their way to school with a fun and colourful top cat mural. We have since engaged with local group Aberdeen street art to provide print classes for the kids and a interactively deigned mural in the community centre car park. Facilitated by the wonderful staff and the children.
Pete who is a member of the local Mental health and Street art group ABSA conceived the idea to do the Top Cat mural as he thought that the characters would appeal to all ages and give the children something cheery to brighten up their walk to and from School. He free handed the extensive characters collection from prearranged images on his phone. The finished mural is a tribute to his skill and dexterity in the medium.
